CF Flanges & Components

CF (Conflat) Flanges and Components are a series of vacuum fittings applied to ultra-high vacuum (UHV) systems, with vacuum pressures down to 1x10-13 Torr.  These components are typically used in scientific research, semiconductor manufacturing, and vacuum chambers.  They are designed for easy assembly and disassembly, making them ideal for applications requiring frequent maintenance or modification.

CF flanges are fastened with bolts and compress a copper gasket between them.  Each face of the two mating CF flanges has a knife edge, which cuts into the softer copper gasket, providing an extremely leak-tight seal.
