BPE Fittings & Valves

BPE Fittings and Valves are specialized components used in high-purity applications, such as the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries.  BPE stands for Bioprocessing Equipment, and these fittings and valves are designed to meet the strict standards for cleanliness, sterility, and safety required in such applications.

Our BPE fittings and valves include BPE weld fittings, ferrules, diaphragm valves, and more.  They are made from 316L stainless steel with a specific low sulfur content of 0.005% to 0.017%, in accordance with ASME BPE standards.  Their internal surface finishes are available in both mechanical polishing and electropolishing, with a minimum Ra (Roughness Average) of 0.38 μm (micrometers), smoother than sanitary fittings.

Additionally, these BPE components have tighter dimensional tolerances than sanitary fittings, and their materials are definitely traceable via heat numbers marked on the products.
